CBSE Class 10th Result
Today (July 15, 2020) the CBSE declared it 10th result for the year 2020 on official websites. The percentage of pass students is 91.46% , while it was in 91.10 % in 2019 (increase by 0.36%). Official Website of CBSE is http://cbseresults.nic.in.
Total
18 lakh(approx) students have been appeared in class 10 CBSE examination. HRD
minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank twitted, “Dear
Students, Parents, and Teachers! @cbseindia29 has announced the results of Class X and can be
accessed at http://cbseresults.nic.in. We congratulate
you all for making this possible. I reiterate, student's health & quality
education are our priority.
Earlier today, Minister Pokhriyal tweeted that
the results of CBSE class 10th will be announced on July 15 and he also wished
the students best of luck.
According
to CBSE, the subjects for which exams could not be held, marks will be based on
'average of best of three subjects' for which the student has already given the
exam. In case a student has appeared for only three papers, the assessment will
be made on the basis of the best of two and for limited students who have
appeared for only one or two exams, the marks obtained in the internal or
practical exam will be considered.
The students will have to score at least
33 percent marks to pass in a subject. Subjects
having both practical and theory , students will have to pass in both (practical
and theory ) sections.
The CBSE Student who fail in one or two
subjects will get a chance to give another attempt through supplementary exams.
The board is will release dates for the supplementary exams for class 10th
later.
